Maddison

Well, hopefully this time I can post with success. Every time I was going to post this morning either Maddison came and shut the computer off or Mason started crying. He wants me to hold him ALL DAY! This is good if I don't need to get things done.

We had a rough evening with Maddison lastnight. She first enjoyed a nice warm bath. She was in her pjs and I was sweeping the kitchen. Abby was still in the tub and all of a sudden I heard Abby. I can't remember what she said. It was either MOM or HELP. Anyways, I could tell by the tone of Abby's voice something was wrong. Well, Maddison fell into the bathtub, pj's and all. She seemed to be ok. More scared than hurt. Luckily I was able to get to her quickly. So we were both wet after that!

About 30 minutes after that she had a toy and dropped it on her toe. So she was upset again. Then 10 minutes after that she fell face first on the rug in the living room. So I cuddled with her and when she seemed happy again she got down to play. Well she made it about 10 minutes and fell again. Yes, right on her face. She ended up with a super small bloody nose. This time I saw she tripped over her toe. So between falling the tub and dropping the toy on her toe it must have hurt fairly bad. I decided after that fall to let her stay up a while longer so I could make sure she was ok.

Today Maddison seems to be doing fine. She has fallen once (its 11:30 am now). So not too bad so far.

Couch

We're going to need a bigger couch! My parents bought us this couch for our wedding gift (along with helping pay for some of the wedding). We love our couch but its getting smaller. Or maybe we're all getting bigger. Something like that. We had movie night on Saturday night and it was getting to be a bit crowded. So once Mason wants to sit next to me and not on my lap, I think it will be time for a bigger couch! And if we stay living in this house (yes, we are. No spontaneous move to another town will be happening), we definitely have room for a huge sectional!

Maybe like this one.... however look at the price. Yikes!

Finally some color!

5 weeks old.

6 weeks old and not happy at the moment. I couldn't get a good picture.

Eating fruitloops in her pj's while watching cartoons!
Painting a pumpkin!

The girls this morning all ready for grandparent's day at school.

I am loosing my voice. Not a good thing but at least I can still type!

I finally got batteries tonight at Wal-Mart. Was a nice trip. Saw a baby boy that was born into a family I used to do daycare for. Sadly they no longer need my daycare since mom works days and dad works night to save on the daycare cost. Her little guy is little. He's 10 weeks and is 11 pounds. Mason is 6 weeks and 10 pounds 6 oz. Babies are so cute though. I commented today to my cousin's wife that once you have 3 (she is expecting number 3 in about 4-6 weeks) you might as well have 6! She had a good point. More kids you have the less likely you are to be lonely when you are old. More people to visit you and more grandkids! But after the Wynn house took a trip to Wal-Mart for formula, winter mittens, 2 sweatshirts to meet school uniform code I don't know if I can afford 2 more.

Anyways, I am rambling. Enjoy the pictures. More to come later.

Pictures

I do not take the greatest pictures. However pictures are a wonderful thing to have. Something we can treasure in years to come. Sometimes they capture the greatest moments and sometimes the toughest ones. Sometimes we even ask ourselves why we end took such a crazy picture. But we can never go back in time. To me pictures are very important.

I was alittle upset lastnight that I still haven't gotten batteries for my camera. Alittle upset that I was about ready to cry. Yes, cry and throw a fit!

Hubby managed to find me some working ones. Yeah, he didn't think going to Wal-Mart at 9pm was that important. I was in the middle of finishing a batch of chocolate chip cookies. The girls had to take baked goods to school for a bake sale today. I forgot unitl late lastnight.

Anyways, he found me some batteries. So today I took a picture. I managed to take 3 pictures. Then the batteries died. No idea where he got these but they did not last long.

Mason is 6 weeks old today! Faith is 12 weeks old today! Faith is at my house (napping right now) while her mommy is attending Grandparents day with Grandma Robin at the girls' school. I am so not happy. I can not get a picture of the two little ones.

I will be making a trip tonight to get batteries. There will be pictures on my blog before I end my day today! I promise.

And at some point, most likely when my daycare is filled with children (hopefully sooner than later) I will be buying myself a better camera.

What did I do today?

Well, today I have been keeping myself busy. However by the looks of the house you would think a tornado hit. I have done some cleaning but sadly its the cleaning nobody sees. I swept behind the toy shelves in the living room along with the changing table. I cleaned the summer clothes out of Maddison's room and set those aside for Aunt Molly to look at. Most of them I folded more than once since Maddison was helping me. I got out Mason's clothes size 3-6 months and got those into the washer. I also found time between feeding Mason and making lunch to straighten the kitchen pantry (I sure do wish it was a larger pantry). I changed alot of diapers!

Oh my brother called all the way from Wyoming! He calls me on his days off when he gets bored. That took 50 minutes! He was doing laundry at the laundry mat.

However, if you came to my house now you would wonder what I did all day. My house is a mess.

Now I am off to fold clothes while I wait for the baked potatoes in the oven to be done. What don't get done today will be here waiting for me tomorrow!

We had a busy weekend again. Hubby worked from 6am-10am Saturday morning. When he got home we got ready to go 2 hours north and visit a science museum. Hubby belongs to a Reef Club (men and women who are in love with their fish tanks). They are working on setting up a fish tank that is 210 gallons at the science museum! So the Reef Club was having a meeting. At first I was going to stay home but then decided since we can get in free I would tag along and check it out. Just an FYI if you have seen our fish tank that is 75 gallons. So the one they are working on is much larger. The girls had tons of fun. Maddison kept me busy. She ran around the whole time. Of course I had to follow behind her. After about 45 minutes I had seen enough but we were there 2.5 hours! So the girls and I saw everything like 3-4 times! I think their favorite part was watching the sakes get lunch. Nothing like a mouse for lunch! I enjoyed taking a much needed nap on the way there. I am sure I slept at least the last hour if not a bit longer!

Sunday we went to church with Aunt Molly and Uncle Josh to help baptize Baby Faith. I am Faith's Godmother! It was a great day and we enjoyed lunch at their house afterwards. Faith wore the same Baptism gown that Maddison wore. Molly and I are planning to save it for future girls (not me but hopefully our brothers will some day have children and maybe Molly will someday have another girl)!

Somewhere in all that I managed to clean the bathroom and do some laundry. Always have to wash school uniforms on the weekend. And seriously, who invented white shirts for kids? Also who's idea was it for them to have white shirts for their uniforms? I think navy blue or red would look just as nice.

I hope to post some pictures later. I haven't been having much camera luck lately. Today the batteries are dead. So once I get some new batteries I will post some pictures.
