~Mommy and Me~

Miss Maddison went to dance class. Mommy went too! We just completed a 4 week class called Mommy and Me class. We went Wednesday nights for 30 minutes. We had so much fun. Its was actually kind of a work out for me. My legs have been bothering me again so by the time the 30 minute class was over I was tired out! The lady who taught the class is actually the owner of the dance studio. She said Maddison is ready for real dance! Not sure how I feel about that yet. The next step would be a 6 week class with girls ages 3-6 years old. She could join as early as January. She would then have a recital at the end of the 6 weeks (this is what we tried Abby in first when she was 4 years old. It didn't go so well when we got to the recital. She cried the whole time and never wanted to go back). So I am still debating if she is ready.

While in class we did actions and dancing to many children's songs. We did the Bear Hunt, Little Birdy, Dora theme song, and many more. It was a great way for the kids to get used to being in the dance studio and getting used to listening to the dance teacher. We practised jumping, skipping, galloping, hopping, and marching.
