Mail

Do you like getting mail? No I don't mean email... I mean real actual mail that comes delivered to your mailbox?

It sure don't happen as often as it used to. So I am challenging myself to send out 10 cards of some kind. Yes, cards with actual postage! No emails, no text, no facebook messages!

1) I first sent a card out for graduation.
2) I sent a very belated birthday card to a friend.
3) Thank you to my grandparents for a b-day gift.
4) Letter to a friend in California I have not seen for some time.
5) A Happy New House Card to my friend and her family who just purchased their 2nd home!

Now I am stumped. I have 5 more to go and I will get them sent. Getting a card in the mail just means so much more than an email. And realy how hard is to walk to the mailbox?

Thank you so much for my Grad card! I was so surprised and it absolutely made my day! My daughter gets the mail as she comes in from school and she sifts thru it and says "Who is Ms. Amy Wynn?" I said "WHAT??" Then just smiled from ear to ear all night long. My dh said what put that smile there? And my daughter said Miss Amy did!

My neice is a card giver...she is constantly sedning cards..birthdays, holidays, thanks yous and now occasional picture ones of her new daughter..she will jsut print up 10-15 copies and send them to close family and friends to put on the refrig or bulletin board for a few weeks. I love getting them in an actual printed photo...silly shots, her with her older half sisters, making funny faces...with a silly hat on..whatever!

THANKS again! I am still smiling!
