Making almond bark pretzels with the kids is one of my favorite things to do. I do not enjoy eating them but the kids have so much fun making them. Jade took one in her lunch box the other day and she came home and told me that one of the kids at lunch wanted her pretzel. He said he didn't know how to make them. Jade was just shocked he didn't know how. I hope this is something they always remember doing and someday make with their kids!

years in review

We started out in 2007 with Jade and Abby and Logan. This was right after we got the girls full time. Our fist Christmas as a Married Couple! (my sister's tree)
Our little tree with BIG presents. This was our little house.
We were lucky to fit this tree in the house.

In 2008 we had Maddison who celebrated her 1st Christmas with us!

Now we will celebrate this year again and we have Mason to
celebrate his 1st Christmas with us.

Oh what will we do in 2010?!?

If it were up to me we'd add twins, Alayna and Aiden
however my husband said no.
Maybe a dog??




*Just and FYI- I had nothing to do with Jade's hair in the first two pictures.
She cut her hair at her mom's house right before they came to live with us.
To fix it her mother basically cut it all off. It took a long time to grow back.

Me night

Its not often I leave the house all by myself. Tonight I am going to. Yes, I go places without the kids but its usually meetings or physical therapy. Tonight I am going alone to run some errands and try to find some picture frames I need for Christmas gifts. Then at 9:00pm I am going to meet up with some others at Applebees for beverages! I am excited to get out of the house. I haven't been going out (except my one trip this week to therapy) because its too cold.

But now all afternoon I have been worried about what I am going to wear? I might even put on alittle make-up for the first time in 2 years!

I will make up for being gone tomorrow by spending the morning with my kids in our pj's and we'll even have mac and cheese for lunch! Hubby has to work mandatory overtime!

Need some work

I need some help!

You already knew that, right?

I need to bring in some more income. I need some ideas. I am looking for something I can do at home. If I was talented I would try to design some blog layouts and sell them but I am not that talented. But hey I did add a blinkie!! Its that cool.

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas I am open to hear them. Either comment here or send me an email!

I have tried selling Avon and that just didn't work for me.

Big Red Suit

I think this baby seat has the goofiest strap.
Mason looks like he is ready for take off!
The nice thing though about his seat is it vibrates
and plays music.

We finally saw the big guy in the red suit!

Everyone seemed to like him except Maddison.
Jade asked for a horse (not a real one). This is not what she wanted 2 weeks ago.

Abby asked for a new blanket for her bed and a stuffed animal horse.

Maddison asked for a toy box.

Mason asked for a train!

We'll see how well Santa does this year.

I think he has to go back to the shop and talk to the elves about making another horse!
